This is my first attempt at Astrophotography. I live about two hours from this location and decided at 9:00 PM that I would head out to the beach in an attempt to catch an image of the Milky Way. I used an app to find out where the Milky Way would be and it appeared to be at its peak around 1:00 AM, but I was not counting on the cloud cover that I would get at the beach that night. There are only about 6 or 7 images of this capture where the clouds did not obstruct the view in one way or another. By the time we got to 1:00 AM, the cloud-cover was at about 90% so just about no part of the night sky could be seen.
